L’obiettivo dell\u2019iniziativa Europea DestinE (Destination Earth) \u00e8 quello di sviluppare un modello digitale altamente accurato della Terra al fine di monitorare e prevedere l’interazione tra fenomeni naturali e attivit\u00e0 umane, anticipare eventi estremi e adattare le politiche alle sfide legate al clima.<\/p>\n

Il DESP (DestinE Service Platform), sistema informatico basato su cloud aperto, facile da usare, flessibile e sicuro fornir\u00e0 strumenti, applicazioni e servizi decisionali basati su prove. Esso consentir\u00e0, inoltre, lo sviluppo di applicazioni e servizi che sfruttano i dati di DestinE integrandoi \u00a0dati degli Earth Explorers dell’ESA, la serie Copernicus Sentinel, i dati del Centro europeo per le previsioni meteorologiche a medio termine (ECMWF) e, nel tempo, altri importanti dati europei.<\/p>\n

Obiettivo dell\u2019incontro \u00e8 introdurre i partecipanti sulle opportunit\u00e0 dell\u2019iniziativa e sulle potenzialit\u00e0 della piattaforma nonch\u00e9 presentare dei casi concreti.<\/p>\n

Al termine del meeting i partecipanti avranno l\u2019opportunit\u00e0 di confrontarsi con gli esperti in incontri individuali.<\/p>\n
