Cooperation Forum&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>UNIDO ITPO<\/strong> Italy has the pleasure to invite you to participate in its <strong>\u201cIraq Business &amp; Cooperation Forum\u201d<\/strong>, which will be held from 10:00 AM through 5:00 PM on <strong>November 27th 2024<\/strong> at <strong>Le M\u00e9ridien Visconti in Rome<\/strong>, Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Objective of the Forum is to facilitate partnerships and business collaborations between <strong>Iraqi and Italian stakeholders<\/strong> from institutions, business associations and private sector in the field of <strong>agribusiness, energy &amp; environment, infrastructure &amp; construction, medical &amp; pharmaceutical<\/strong> and beyond, leveraging the role of business for international development cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Forum, organized in collaboration with <strong>Confindustria<\/strong>, will open with a <strong>plenary session<\/strong> in the morning, featuring speeches from high-level representatives from distinguished stakeholders \u2013 including the <strong>Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI)<\/strong>, <strong>the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS)<\/strong>, and other members of the Italian System, as well as from Iraq the <strong>Ministry of Industry and Minerals (MIM)<\/strong>, the <strong>Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI)<\/strong>, the <strong>Iraqi Federation of Industries (IFI)<\/strong>, the <strong>Iraqi Federation of Chambers of Commerce (IFCC)<\/strong>, the <strong>National Investment Commission<\/strong>, the <strong>KRG Board of Investment (BoI)<\/strong>, the <strong>Industrial Cities Corporation (ICC)<\/strong> and the <strong>UNIDO Enterprise Development Centers (EDCs)<\/strong> \u2013 who will bring their extensive expertise and knowledge, significantly contributing to the strategic discussions and developments that will arise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a <strong>networking lunch<\/strong>, the afternoon of the Forum will be dedicated to <strong>B2B and B2G meetings<\/strong>, allowing for direct interactions between participating Italian companies and their Iraqi counterparts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Forum is organized within the framework of the \u201c<strong>Investment Promotion for Iraq \u2013 Phase II<\/strong>\u201d project funded by AICS and \u201c<strong>Establishing Innovative Platform in Iraq<\/strong>\u201d project financed by MAECI, both implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"ghostkit-divider ghostkit-divider-type-solid ghostkit-custom-Z2KqvG\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conference Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;
